AUSTIN, TX – Artists are having difficulties finding
affordable health insurance. As part of its efforts to assist the members
of Arthouse we have partnered with Global Benefit Solutions in Austin
to provide individual coverage for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability
and other benefits to our members. Many of the plans available are on
a discounted rate basis.
Global Benefit Solutions works to help small businesses
find affordable health insurance. The company has access to more than
60 insurance carriers that do business with Texas small employers and
individuals. The goal of the collaborative effort between The Arthouse
and Global Benefit Solutions is to leverage the buying power of The
Arthouse members to get better rates and services. Tom Newby of Global
Benefit Solutions has worked in the insurance industry for 12 years,
originally working with the insurers, then as a Senior Consultant, before
starting his own firm. The reason for his success is the Customer Services
he and his staff provide to their clients.
