SMALL BUSINESS UNITED OF TEXAS PARTNERS WITH
GLOBAL BENEFIT SOLUTIONS, INC. FOR INSURANCE BENEFITS
AUSTIN, TX – Texas small businesses are having difficulties
finding affordable health insurance. As part of its efforts to assist
Texas small businesses, Small Business United of Texas has partnered
with Global Benefit Solutions in Austin to provide statewide individual
and group coverage for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability and
other benefits to Texas small businesses. Many of the plans available
are on a Guarantee Issue basis with no medical questions asked and/or
discounted rates. Other services offered include Cafeteria Plans, 401(k)
plans, COBRA Administration and Transportation Fringe Benefit Plan Administration.
SBU Texas, the Texas Chapter of a National Small Business
United, provides key information to Small Business owners on starting
and operating businesses in Texas, as well as tips on where to go for
financing. This 7,000 + business member group is a responsive, volunteer-directed
association that proactively represents small business owners at all
levels of government. As a coalition of small business owners and business
associations, SBU of Texas aggressively promotes legislation that stimulates
and benefits small business development and growth.
Global Benefit Solutions works to help small businesses
find affordable health insurance. The company has access to more than
50 insurance carriers that do business with Texas small employers. The
goal of the collaborative effort between SBU of Texas and Global Benefit
Solutions is to leverage the buying power of SBU of Texas members to

has worked in the insurance industry for 12 years, originally working
with the insurers, then as a Senior Consultant, before starting his
